Adobe is partnering with the Khan Academy
We are excited to announce the launch of a major partnership between Adobe and Khan Academy that increases access to creative and digital skills for teachers and students across the globe. Our goal with this partnership is to support the development of new, free online learning resources that foster creative and critical thinking skills, helping all students reach their potential and ultimately, be better prepared for the future.

New Adobe Education Exchange Course to help teach Creativity with Adobe and Khan Academy
Watch your students’ creativity soar with these FREE Adobe, Khan Academy, and Pixar in a Box lessons, activities, and projects.
In this self-paced course, educators and school leaders learn strategies to support their students’ creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. You’ll learn from expert teachers and access over 100 FREE lesson plans, activities, and projects that combine Khan Academy content and engaging Adobe tools.
2021 APAC Adobe Education Summit – save the date
The 2021 APAC Adobe Education Summit will be held on Wednesday September 29. This will be a virtual all-day event open during the school holidays for any educators in any sector. It will feature presentations from the local and global Adobe in Education team, Adobe Education Leaders, Adobe Creative Educators and other guests – all aimed to inspire teachers to enhance their digital creatively skills.
The Summit will also include a day exclusively for Adobe Education Leaders (Sept 28) as well as a day for Adobe Creative Educators (Sept 30). If you don’t yet have at least your level 1 ACE badge, now is the time to earn it via the Creativity for All course on the Adobe Education Exchange.
Another great new EdEx Course – Preparing Students for the Future with Essential Creative Skills
In this self-paced course, you’ll learn about essential creative skills like problem solving, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration — and how you can use Adobe apps to cultivate these skills in your students and prepare them for the future.

Another Adobe Creative Jam opportunity for Uni students
On Friday June 11, encourage university students to Join Ring, Adobe, and hundreds of other uni/college students from the US, Canada, Australia & New Zealand to showcase their talent in front of the global creative community. Students will be encouraged to solve a challenge as issued by Ring, expand their skill-set, and win prizes and opportunities like a coaching session with a Ring design team member. Adobe is pleased to be involved in the on-demand STEM 2021 conference. This is being run by the NSW Department of Education but open to all educators and available throughout 2021.
The Get to know your Adobe apps webinar series live sessions are almost over with just Session 3 of the Higher Ed version to be recorded on May 25. Make sure to check the great set of recordings that have come from this program featuring short demos of a wide range of Adobe applications in education from Adobe Education Leaders and other Adobe experts.
On Monday May 17 we recorded session 3 of the Get to know your Adobe apps webinar series for senior secondary teachers. This webinar was a deep-dive into Adobe Illustrator, Character Animator and Audition.
On Thursday 13th May, it was great to be back in a primary school classroom again after so many online engagements. Victorian Primary teacher Anna Mills invited me to meet her Year 5 students from Springside Primary School in Caroline Springs Melbourne who were some of the lucky ones to get Adobe Creative Cloud licenses from the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
The students has alreday mastered making video stories with Adobe Spark and I enjoined seeing some of their mathematics stories about different angles around the school.
The students produced some very creative posters and played with lots of the Adobe Spark features.
Every Vic DET secondary school has access to the Adobe Creative Cloud and many of the students shared how much they are looking foraward to working with Photoshop and other more professional Adobe tools in the future.

The Inject Creativity Live episode recorded on May 6 featured Adobe Education Leader Lauren Sayer from Melbourne Girls Grammar sharing about how to get started with Adobe Spark in the classroom. Claire Hackett and Tanya Marriott from Massey University in New Zealand told us about their work and the Earth Guardians Character Design Competition and Adobe Education Leader and though leader Brett Salakas shared one of his amazing poems.
