Big Day In is Back – Brisbane

About 400 students from schools all around Brisbane, visited the University of Queensland earlier today for the first face to face Big Day In events for a long time.

It was a delight to share the importance of creativity as a vital skill to thrive in the future based on research from the World Economic Forum and provide the students with examples of how they can enhance their digital creativity skills with the help from the many Adobe apps available in most schools.

Adobe & ACS event in Brisbane

The very innovative River City Labs Precinct (home of the Australian Computer Society in Brisbane) was the venue for a special face to face and online (hybrid) professional learning event for about 12 teachers face to face and about 20 online.

The focus was on the way creativity can be enhanced and developed with Adobe’s low-lift and high impact applications such as the new Adobe Creative Cloud Express for Education (formally known as Adobe Spark) Premiere Rush and Adobe XD.

I would like to thank Brisbane based Adobe Education Leader Nalin Naidoo for helping assist the teachers in the room and online throughout this all day event.

I would also like to thank Matthew Jorgensen and Jason Cooper from the Australian Computer Society for helping to organisite and manage this event.

Feedback results were very pleasing with 94% agreeing that the content was relevant and useful and that they would recommend a similar session to their peers.
