i-Educate is the main technology in education event for teachers who work in Queensland Government schools. It was held this week as a face to face event in Brisbane on May 30 & 31 and then a virtual event for the rest of the week.
About 700 teachers, IT experts and support staff were involved in a very successful celebration of what is possible in the world of ICT in Education.
The highlight of the conference was (naturally) the Adobe workshop on Character Animator of Premiere Rush titled – Giving students a voice that I ran with Education QLD teacher and Adobe Education Leader MJ Raatz.

It was wonderful to see and hear about all the great ideas the teachers came up with to use Character Animator and Rush to enhance the teaching & learning process, especially with students who are not physically or mentally able to present in front of an audience.
A personal highlight for me was catch up with Dr Jordan Nguyen who I have share a stage with on a few occasions at various education events. He is always so inspiring.
After the face to face conference in Brisbane, I traveled north to the Sunshine Coast an ran a series of virtual events at the amazing Digital Futures Hub at The Sunshine Coast University.
