My Ireland adventure has begun. First stop, Singapore after a fairly painless 8-hour flight in a very comfortable Qantas A380.

I managed to watch just about every episode of Modern Family series 1 & 2 that I hadn’t already seen as well as Mel Gibson’s new film ‘Get the Gringo (very violent, very entertaining).

The highlight of the flight was meeting the Australian Women’s Basketball team on their way to the London Olympics. Check how tall Liz Cambridge is.

I’m staying up late tonight to try and start the acclimatization process for the UK and get over the thrill of meeting these amazing athletes on their way to glory.
