Day 8 was all about iTunes U, Apple’s main education portal to just about any University or School related course imaginable. The main aim of this conference is to get the international ADE community to work in teams to produce great content for iTunes U.
Professor Peter Scott (Director, Knowledge Media Institute – The Open University) was our morning keynote and he also lead the iBooks Author workshop later in the day. The Open University use iTunes U extensively and they brought most of their development team to the conference to share with us.

Another highlight was a session with professional photographer Bill Frakes who produces videos for Apple and is one of Sport’s Illustrated’s most in demand photographers.

We broke into workshop groups to focus on ways to author iBooks and ultimately high quality content for iTunes U.
