Following a number of requests, Strathcona is offering free and friendly community IT sessions in the CPAC Multimedia Centre.

These sessions are open to parents, grandparents, students, teachers and anyone who is interested in further developing their computer skills.

Each session will be coordinated by Dr Tim Kitchen with the help of some of the IT staff and senior students at Strathcona.

Basic image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop (Windows or Mac)
Monday 30th July – 4.00pm to 6.00pm

This session focuses on making large image files more manageable for online use as well as touching up images.

Everything you wanted to know about your Mac

Wednesday 15th August – 4.00pm to 6.00pm

This session is open to questions and explanations about any Mac related operation eg how to make the most of iPhoto, iTunes, Pages, Keynote, iMovie etc
