About 30 representatives of the Adobe Education Community in APAC met together from October 3 to 5 at the Sydney Adobe office for their annual Leadership Summit.
Adobe Education Leaders, Adobe Campus Leaders and Adobe Education Trainers from all over Australia contributed to this wonderful event.

It was a pleasure for all of us to have Tacy Trowbridge and Matt Niemitz from the US with us for this event. Tacy is Adobe’s Global Education Programs Lead and Matt manages the Adobe Education Exchange.

Mark Christie, Adobe Education Trainer and Director eLearning Systems for the Department of Education Northern Territory Government, presented about working with students in museums, libraries and iconic locations to create shareable resources.

Abi Woldhuis and Ross Johnson coordinated a series of working group sessions with an aim to map a range of new and current Adobe Education Exchange resources to the Australian Curriculum. This ended up being a wonderful time of networking and learning from each others experiences, expertise and impromptu presentation sessions.
The afternoon of Day 2 was focused on a choice of the following workshop options:

- Adobe Fuse with Adobe Solution Consultant Richard Turner-Jones
- Video capture tips & tricks with video producer William Spry from Wilkar Productions

- Adobe Capture with Adobe Solution Consultant Brian Chau

The quality of the conversations was enormously beneficial to my professional growth. I’m heading home really inspired to drive and lead innovation in WA schools.
My highlight was engaging with many educators and seeing their passion for their teaching and projects. I felt like a kid with new toys seeing how apps are used by schools.
