With a new academic year dawning, and the recent adoption lots of new digital communication skills during COVID related lock downs, let’s make digital literacy and creativity a professional learning focus for 2021 – no matter what you teach.

This newsletter outlines a number of Adobe in Education related PL opportunities and resources for teachers in all curriculum areas. Pick and choose the ones that are most relevant to you and please share them all to your colleagues and wider education networks.

Inject Creativity Live – 2021

We are currently planning a new set of Inject Creativity Live events for 2021. Click here to register in advance to get a reminder email prior to each event as well as a link to the recordings. Adobe Creative Educator program

About 14,000 teachers have currently enrolled in the Adobe Creative Educator (ACE) program with about 6,500 teachers completing level 1 and receiving their ACE badge.

The Adobe Creative Educator (ACE) program is for any teacher, from any subject area in any level. You don’t have to be an Adobe expert to get an ACE badge.

Last week, Adobe ran the Be a Creative Educator course which is aimed at helping teachers through the process to achieving ACE Level 1. This free course is being repeated on March 11 and on April 13 (school holidays). Click here for more information and registration.

Special Adobe & EduTech webinar

Keep 10th February 4PM (AEDT) free for a special Adobe in Education webinar in conjunction with EduTech. Guests will include Lauren Sayer (now from Melbourne Girls Grammar), Joe Cohen from the NSW Department of Education T4L team and Deb Hicks from the Victorian Department of Education. Find out how and why Adobe tools are making such a positive difference to a wide variety of curriculum areas and levels. Please share this event with colleagues, especially those who are new to the world of Adobe in Education.

Get to know your Adobe apps – webinar series

We have had over 600 registrations so far for the new and free Get to know your Adobe apps series starting in February. These events cater for teachers at various levels of K12 and Higher Education all over the Australasian region. They will be run by the Adobe Education team as well as Adobe Education Leaders from February 23 to May 26.

Register in advance for the sessions that are most relevant for you and share these events with your colleagues and wider education networks.

ACCE Conference 2021

The ACCE/Digicon Conference will be a virtual event from March 15th to March 19th 2021. The conference will be held each afternoon from 4pm to 6pm. Keep those dates & times free and click here for more information. Click here if you are interested in presenting at this event.
