On Wednesday 27th July, I had the pleasure of running an Adobe Day at Mentone Girls Secondary College in Melbourne. I worked with groups of students from a range of classes and year levels with a focus on creating infographics with Adobe Express.
I provided the students with this Adobe Express infographic template based on skills to thrive for the future according to the World Economic Forum. The main skill missing from the template is creativity so the students task was to add that skill and be creative with the infograpohic.
After spending the morning with about 120 students, after lunch, I worked with a keen group of teachers who have been selected as IT support coaches for the school. These teachers had good overall IT skills and some were very competent with a range of Adobe tools.
After school, the coaches and I worked with the rest of the staff to show them how they can use Adobe Express in a range of curriculum areas.
I’d like to thank Jonathan Hall, Jennifer Connolly, Diana Gilbert and all the staff at Mentone Girls Secondary College for hosting me for the day. It was wonderful to engage with some many students and staff and share some outstanding digital creativity solutions.
