Adobe Day at Chatswood High School, Sydney

On Monday 6th November I had the pleasure of being invited to run an Adobe at Chatswood High School in Sydney. With close to 2000 students, it is one of the largest state schools in New South Wales.

Briona Gill, Soundhouse Manager at Chatswood High organsied a full program of activities for a range of Year 7 & 8 classes. The school is very lucky to have a Soundhouse to help enhance their music program. I was in ore looking around the room and reminisced about my early teaching years as music educator.

The Adobe Day sessions involved using the Gen AI Text to Image feature within Adobe Express to create an image and turn it into a short video production. We also looked at how to use Adobe Character Animator for some simple 2D animations that can help enhance any production.

The following day a number of Chatswood teachers from a range of curriculum areas joined me for the Adobe Creative Educator Level 1 micro-credential course.

I would like to thank Briona for organising this special day for her school.
